A volumetric concrete mixer (also known as volumetric mobile mixer and metered concrete truck) is a truck that contains concrete ingredient materials and water to be mixed on the truck at the job site to make and deliver concrete according to the amount needed.[1]
We have certified engineered mix designs that have been strength tested for different MPA strength which is computer generated and calculated to deliver the same mix every time from the trucks. The truck operator is trained on the volumetric mixer and delivers you the exact meters and mix design you need on site or multiple projects on sites. You don’t need to order many trucks with different mix designs/color/accelerators/air entrainment – as it’s all in ONE TRUCK.
The Process: Sand, rock and powder are loaded into specially manufactured container bins, and the water tank is filled for mixing and clean-up.
When ready, the operator adjusts the dual aggregate flow gates to ensure the correct amount of sand and rock are delivered to mix your concrete. A cross-member delivery chain with a bolt-on rubber conveyor belt delivers the precise amount of aggregate to a high-speed auger. At this point, powder is dispensed and as all of the materials enter the mixing auger, water is applied to the mix to provide the required slump.
The full-function wireless remote control gives a single operator the freedom to operate the process from a convenient location, and make adjustments to the conveyor belt, auger and discharge rate. This allows for control over strength and slump.
